I don't know HTML at all - sorry about the mess!
Here are some things I've made or been working on recently.
Rolled Out! is a marble rolling game I started back in 2017, built on Unreal Engine 4.
On Rolled Out! I have had roles as lead game and level designer, as well as 3D modeler and animator for characters and backgrounds.
These days, though, I mostly just create levels for it - the whole reason I started this game was because I loved making custom Super Monkey Ball levels, but modding the GameCube games was very limited, and such a hassle.
Obviously, it was easier to just make my own game.
This is a completely original fighter, in design, model, and moveset. Everything was created in Blender, then imported into the game using the m-ex modding toolset.
She wasn't fully completed, but most of her main moveset is done.
This is an F-ZERO inspired racing game I've been working on using the Godot engine.
The game simulation is written entirely in C++, and supports 30+ players in online races, utilizing rollback netcode for a smooth experience in high speed races with vehicle-on-vehicle collision and combat.
A platform fighter 'engine' that I built in Godot to learn more about data driven design and state machines.
All code controlling the fighters, from their states to their physics to their hurtboxes and attack hitboxes, are all handled in resources that can be edited directly in the editor.
This includes a novel action system, inspired of course by the Smash Bros. series, where a list of subactions to be executed on specific frames are defined for a specific state, ordered by frame timers.
This made editing fighters an extremely simple and enjoyable process, since you could define entirely new attacks and behaviours, or modify existing ones, by just clicking buttons and setting values - often no code required.
3D model and animations by me.
Here's some various character animations created for several different projects, including Rolled Out!
I've created some other little projects for various use cases, from YouTube to streaming.
I like to work in GMod, since Lua is simple, and its implementation in the game makes it easy to iterate with. Here's a few things I made with it.
To learn C#, I made a barebones clone of Rolled Out! in s&box, a closed beta game development platform. A clone of a clone, huh...?
Everything here except for the character model and sfx was built completely from scratch - levels, backgrounds, interface, and effects.
I might have a small obsession with Super Monkey Ball.
Here's some backgrounds I either created fully myself, or had a majority part in making, for Rolled Out! These are game ready, fully 3D environments which the levels are placed inside of.
Following that, a boatload of Rolled Out! stages.
These are the sons of guns that you roll around on.
